yesterday was teolinda vargas's birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
today is the last day to buy a holiday wish.
yall need to turn in your yearbook money before the price increase an 8th graders turn in thopse baby pictures so we can see your cute little faces:)
today ends the 3 week progress report!
monday is the last day to donate toys for the toys for tots drive.
we will an ounce the Uil results on monday. long did a great job!!

The following academies will take place on the following dates from 7:30-8:30 a.m IB- December 9, METSA-December 10, Biomed&AMAT-December 11. students planning to attend the visits will need to have transportation to the academy, but will be able to catch a bus to DFL at the completion of the visit. Inorder to ride the bus, students will need a bus permission request form that has been signed by a parent. UIL is TODAY! after school at 4:30.Holiday wishes are $1.00 each and will be delivered with a special ornament and holiday wish on December 16th/17th. The green team will have a mandatory meeting on Friday morning in room110. bring your completed registration form. We will discuss the Martin Luther king parade, collection days, and t-shirts. remember green team, mandatory meeting on friday, bring registration. Did you know that the mission of the marine toys for tots foundation is to assist the US marine corps in providing a tangible sigh of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas? Monday is the last day for toy collection. Yearbooks are on sale now for $20 cash or check to room 117 or the main office. Holiday wish: you will be able to write a special holiday wish that will be delivered with an ornament on December 16th or 17th the holiday wishes are $1.00 each. Music memory, ready writing, editorial writing, begins tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. there will be a belt ceremony tomorrow night at 7:00 in the main gym. 7th and 8th grade basketball B teams play tonight. Boys play at Perry and girls play at Long. congratulations to Stephanie Jasper and Ivan Jones for making honorable mention for all star cast. Hallie Aureback received an all star cast award and Shelbie Warr received an all star tech award.Toys for tots is active in all 50 states, the district of Colombia, and Puerto Rico.

Do you like to hang out after school by the football field? Well you can no longer do that. Beginning the Monday after we get back, if your ride has not picked you up by 4:10, you will ned to walk around to the front and be picked up there.
Penny Drive!!!
Tired of being told where to sit in the cafeteria? Do you want to sit with your friends? How, you ask? Penny drive is the key. The lunch that brings in the most money, Monday though Thursday, on Friday they will get to sit where ever they want.
Remember!
The toys for tots drive is still going on at our school, so come and donate some toys for kids. :D
