Today is the red ribbon dance
Be sure to wear your ids and be sure to also wear appropiate clothes t the dance other wise you wont be let in.
Tickets on sale during all lunches at 2 dollars and tickets at the dance will be on sale at 3 dollars .
Glow sticks will be at sale for 1 dollar.
Pictures will also be taken for a dollar.

Red Ribbon Week: Decade Day

Falcons, today is Decade Day...what was your favorite Decade? Tomorrow is Twin Day. It is also a memorial for Sargent Carl Benitez...so please include WHITE in your dress tomorrow.

Red Ribbon Dance is Friday from 6 to 8 PM. Tickets are on sale during all lunches today, Thursday and Friday for $2. If you wait until the dance, tickets will be $3 at the door. Pictures and Glow Sticks will be on sale during the dance for $1 each, so bring some extra cash with you.

Orchestra Rocked All Region This Weekend: 7 students were selected for the All-Region Orchestra...Out of all CFB Middle School Orchestras, Long Had the highest ranking chairs in all sections except for 2.

Red Ribbon Week: Jersey Day

Falcons, It's Jersey Day...we're teaming up against drugs. Tomorrow is Decade Day because drugs are old school and uncool.

Crimestoppers are Meeting tomorrow morning during Tutorials in Room 17 (ie the secrete, crime fighting lair.)

This is the last week to read and take AR tests for fabulous prizes. If you finish your book don't forget to take the test and fill-out an entry Slip in the library.

Tuesday: Jersey Day (team up against drugs)
Wednesday: Decade Day (drugs are old school)
Thursday: Twin Day (double up against drugs)
Friday: Rock Star Day (rock out against drugs)

Again this year's PTA Reflections competition's theme is "Together We Can" and the rules are in the front office. The 22nd is the last day to take a test for the reading contest. We are playing against the Richardson volleyball team and the 8th grade team is playing at Liberty and 7th is playing home. you can pickup your report card tonight but if not then your 4th period teacher will give yours to you tomorrow. Red Ribbon week is next week. Monday is hat day and Tuesday is jersey day. Have a happy day! :)

There was a drawing today, for the Don't Let Reading Scare You contest, and there were lots off winners. UIL Spelling Bee tryouts will be held October 19th for 7th and 8th graders. There is going to be a drawing for the don't let reading scare you contest. FCA meeting will occur again today. PTA reflections competition's theme is "Together We Can" and the rules are in the front office. UIL Spelling Bee tryouts will be held October 19th for 7th and 8th graders, the 7th grade athletes can go after school. The theater fundraiser is tonight and the admission is two dollars. Remember the theater fundraiser is also a bake sale. The counselors will call the 7th and 8th grade girls for the Reach For The Stars conference today. Last but not least, Ms. Gram and M. Seedfelt did a funny "speech" on the situation referring to cellphones. Have a good day! :)

The meeting that was supposed to be held Monday (when we were all enjoying our day off) for the 7th grade team will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, in room 8 after school.

7th and 8th Grade Football B Teams will play tonight at Standridge Stadium against Bush...Go Falcons.
