Last night, our Lady Falcons beat those BRONCOS! Tuesday our Sir Falcons will be playing against Bush. Our theme is western so dress up like a cowboy or girl, I know I will. FBN Friday Book Review:

The name is Hunger Games by Suzanna Collins. Its set in North America but the only people there are separated into 12 districts and one Capital. The “country” is called Panem and because of a previous revolt, people in the districts are prohibited from contacting people from other districts, furthermore, each district has to send one girl and one boy to Panem where they train for and fight in a brutal game called the Hunger Games. In the Hunger Games, the competitors are in an awesome arena where they fight to the death for the view pleasure of all Panem to see. The story centers around the boy and girl sent to the games from District 12, a romance that can’t work, a fight to live, and other multiple small things. I love the way the author writes and the entire plot line. I would recommend this book for anyone who doesn’t mind a little romance mixed in with a lot of action and gore.

Don't Forget...you still have 3 different ways to contribute (of yourself) this holiday season.

Toys for ToTs - Bring new toys that don't cost too much for children (0-12). Donation box in the Front Office.

American Red Cross - Bring $1 to buy Hot Chocolate in the mornings in the cafeteria.

Canned Food Drive - Bring extra canned food to school to be donated to the local food bank.

Long's One Act Play, "The Boys Next Door," won 3rd place at the One Act Play competition on Saturday. (the first time they have placed in 7 years). Congrats to Ms. Cole and the rest of the Cast!

Falcons, There are several good cause available now for students and community members to participate in.

Crime Stoppers is sponsoring "TOYS FOR TOTS" - bring in new toys and donate them to children in need.

Student Council is Sponsoring "A CANNED FOOD DRIVE" - bring in cans of food that will be donated to the local food bank.

NJHS is sponsoring "HOT CHOCOLATE SALE" - bring $1 to drink some hot chocolate in the morning and all of your proceeds go to the American Red Cross.
